RevNet doesn't seem to be working correctly on my Internet browser.

For RevNet to work correctly, we recommend that you will need as a minimum Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 with a cipher strength of 128-bit encryption . You will also need to setup your Internet browser with specific attributes. Access the Check My Browser function to check your browser's attributes.

When logging on an error message is shown stating: Invalid username and/or password. Try again.

Please ensure you are:
  • entering the correct username;
  • entering the correct password;
  • using the correct case (ie. upper case, lower case or a mixture of both).

After clicking the logon button, an error message is shown stating: The page cannot be displayed.

If you experience this problem there are two options currently available that will allow you to continue using RevNet:

  1. Update your operating system or Internet browser (recommended).
  2. If you are unable to update your system immediately, you can access RevNet via an alternate link.

Please check with your local desktop support or network personnel prior to implementing any of the above-suggested options.

1. Update your operating system or Internet browser.

Please ensure your Windows operating system is updated with the latest Service Packs recommended by Microsoft and that you are running the latest version of Internet Explorer available for your operating system. For more details and free downloads of required updates for licensed users see http://www.microsoft.com

The following Windows / Internet Explorer configurations may experience difficulty logging in to the secure RevNet site. Please examine the table below and implement the suggested updates if required.

2. Access RevNet via an alternate link.

If you find that it is inconvenient to update your system immediately, an alternative solution is to access RevNet using the Logon button provided below.

Please note that a warning message will be displayed stating: “The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.” Whilst RevNet will function and your session encrypted, this is a “work-around” for urgent access only and it is strongly recommended that you update your system promptly (see above) to ensure maximum security.

When you have updated your system as recommended in Option 1, you can then revert to accessing RevNet via your normal method.

For Stamp Duty users: If you are using a Slip Printer to stamp your documents, you will need to reset the COM port on which your Slip Printer operates. Your organisation's RevNet Administrator can do this by accessing the Slip Printer Setup page under the Maintenance link in the RevNet menu.
