Eligibility Checklist Will this be the first time each applicant or their spouse/domestic partner will receive a grant under the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000 in any State or Territory of Australia? Yes No Is each applicant and their spouse/domestic partner a person who has never owned a residential property jointly, separately or with some other person before 1/7/2000, in any State or Territory of Australia? Yes No Is each applicant and their spouse/domestic partner a person who has never occupied a residential property in which they held a relevant interest (other than the property to which this application relates), either jointly, separately or with some other person on or after 1 July 2000, in any State or territory of Australia? Yes No Is each applicant a natural person (that is not a company), who is at least 18 years of age and who does or will on completion of the transaction, own the property in their own right and not in any capacity as a trustee? Yes No Is at least one of the applicants a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia? Yes No Will each applicant be occupying the established home as their principal place of residence for a continuous period of 6 months commencing within 12 months of completion of the eligible transaction? Yes No Have all the applicants either - a) on or after 1st July 2000, entered into a Contract for Sale and Purchase of a home? or; b) on or after 1st July 2000, entered into a comprehensive home building contract? or; c) on or after 1st July 2000, in the case of an owner builder, commenced construction (ie. laid foundations) of a home on their vacant land?
