The Emergency Services Levy on your property is determined by the following formula: Effective Fixed Charge + (Capital Value x Effective Area Factor x Effective Land Use Factor x Effective Levy Rate ) - Concessions

The following denotes what is included in the Special Community Use category.
Institutional Residential, Orphan's Accommodation, Religious Quarters - Monasteries, Retired and Aged Accommodation, Old Folk's Homes, Institutional Residential Accommodation N.E.C, Social Welfare, Social Services and Welfare Provision, YMCA and YWCA Facilities, Charitable Organisations, Missions for Aborigines, Social Welfare N.E.C, Places of Assembly, Churches, Seminaries, Public Halls, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, Youth Centres, Medical & Health, Hospital, Private Hospital, Community Hospital, Mental Hospital, Sanatoria, Nursing Homes, Convalescent and Rest Homes, Health centre, MBHA Clinics, Cemeteries, Public Conveniences and Public Utilities N.E.C.
The following people may be eligible for a concession of up to $40 on their ESL for their principal place of residence:
A concession applies to a maximum of only one property per person (or a married couple or a domestic partnership). Two or more persons owning land jointly or as tenants in common (other than a married couple or a domestic partnership) are each eligible to a part of a concession that is proportionate to his or her interest in the property.

However if you live in Regions 2 and 3 and your capital value is less than $1000 you will not be levied.
Any bills below $20 for regional area 3 will not be sent.
