Emergency Services Levy (ESL) - Fixed Property



Sample Notice

The Emergency Services Levy (Fixed Property) notice is divided into three sections.

The top section of the notice contains the billing ESL Notice (or postal) address, due date for payment and references to the notice and ownership details.

The body section of the notice lists the properties being assessed and the levy calculation for each. For a more detailed explanation of how the levy is calculated refer to the Guide to Legislation. Any remissions and concessions applied are also shown in the body section of the notice.

The bottom section is a tear off remittance and must be included with your payment if you choose to pay by post. All available payment options are listed on the reverse of the notice.

The back of the notice outlines the payment options available, including how to apply to pay by instalments, where and how to make further enquiries concerning your levy assessment and information on the various remissions and concessions available.
