Compliance Focus for 2007/2008

Following on from the success of compliance activity conducted in previous financial years, the focus for RevenueSA in the 2007/2008 financial year, is to continue to expand on existing programs by concentrating on identified areas of non-compliance. This also includes applying resources to enhance debt recovery measures and expanding the use of technology in targeting compliance activity.

The following compliance issues will be amongst those to receive attention in the 2007/2008 year:-

Stamp Duty	Conveyance of Land and Business Land Rich Entities Assurance or Insurance Business Application for Registration of a Motor Vehicle – Eligibility for exemption and failure to transfer or declare the correct value
Land Tax	Amalgamation of ownerships Residential Exemptions
First Home Owner Grant	Satisfaction of eligibility criteria
