REGULATIONS UNDER THE TAXATION ADMINISTRATION ACT 1996
The Subordinate Legislation Act 1978 provides for the automatic revocation of subordinate legislation. The effect of that Act is that the Regulations under the Taxation Administration Act 1996, namely the Taxation Administration Regulations 1997, expire on 1 September 2008.
Replacement regulations, the Taxation Administration Regulations 2008, were gazetted on 21 August 2008, (page 3777 of the South Australian Government Gazette) and come into force on 1 September 2008.
While there have been some minor amendments to reflect changed titles, there is no change to existing policy.
